I think you will be very happy with Vista (RTM) and Q07. ;<) As an MVP, I was glad to have the opportunity to beta-test Vista (both x86 and x64) for well over a drive I wanted to use, installing Vista, then installing (again!) all my applications - especially Quicken (2005 at first, then 2006 and finally 2007).

Access 2007 Design view performance on Vista vs XP
Every time I spend the time it's a reminder of how happy I am :(. I don't have nor want to make the time to get things done. Does 2003 work with vista? And where do I find the directions to backdate my Office Professional version from 2007 to 2003. If I can't do that on vista, I want directions on how to go

However when I went to pull up my Vista windows mail a few days ago I had 30 messsages with 19 unread, This I did immediately and after another couple of hours on the phone with a very nice polite young man my inbox and messages were restored and I was happy!

Is Posting Broken as Vista Search?
Just for clairafacation, Publisher 2003 & 2007 work fine on XP sp1-2. Publisher 2003 works fine on Vista 32bit. Publisher 2007 is not able to publish via file on vista 32bit O/S and they all failed to publish via http. I truely am not happy with publisher 07 and may need to go back to 03 for obvious reasons.
